Fortune inn has recently welcomed a new group of nishikigoi (Japanese koi), carefully raised by a renowned breeder.
First, please take a look at this short video showing the koi actually being released into the pond. T
he sight of them gliding out so serenely carries a power that photos alone simply cannot convey.
Every Single One a Star: Magnificent Koi from 65cm to 80cm
The koi we have welcomed this time are hand-picked nishikigoi produced by a renowned breeder.
Ranging from 65cm to 80cm in length, every one of them is an impressive, splendid size.
The vividness of their colors and patterns, the power of their form, the elegance of their swimming—by any measure, these are first-class koi.
Among them are premium fish worth as much as 2 million yen each, and this time we have welcomed a remarkable 50 of them all at once.
An opportunity to see this many koi of such quality gathered together at one time is truly a rare one.
See Them Up Close in the Guesthouse Koi Area
The nishikigoi we have welcomed have also been released into the koi space within Fortune inn’s guesthouse area.
Overnight guests can leisurely enjoy watching the koi swim gracefully in the crisp, clear air of the morning or the soft light of dusk.
Even if you are not staying overnight, you can enjoy a free koi-feeding experience.
You can also witness the striking sight of the koi gathering all at once.
For details, please see Koi Feeding Relaxation.
Please Come and See Them While You Can
The sight of this many nishikigoi gathered together in one place is a highlight available only right now.
