This apartment in Takayama was simply flawless inevery way.
The property looks like a million dollars-exceptionally designed, featuring ultra-comfortable beds, top-tier modern equipment, great air conditioning, a wonderful TV, and a gorgeous kitchen (complete with an espresso machine and a fridge pre-stocked with water by the host).
Beyond the stunning and luxurious apartment, what truly made this experience unforgettable is the host.
He is an extraordinarily warm, kind, and generous person.
He spent time chatting with us, shared photos, and upon arrival, he took a picture with our group of six and surprised each of us with a personalized gift and a heartfelt letter.
The parking area outside is surrounded by gorgeous flowers, and every single detail clearly reflects care and hospitality.
We loved every moment of our stay, and when we return to Takayama, there is no doubt where we will want to stay.

The owner and the room were both perfect — the most wonderful place we stayed in Japan.
The owner was so lovely, and the house was amazing — with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and living room, great floor heating, and even the roof was perfect.
When we left, the owner had left us a note and a gift.
It was hands down the best place we stayed during our time in Japan.
